Travel Tuesdays - My Favourite Travel Experiences (Part 1)

The time of the week has come where I present you some travel content with the hopes of satisfying your wanderlust.

I present you three (we have established that I love this number haha) of my favourite travel experiences. This is part 1 of many to come!

1. Bike Tour In Berlin.

Berlin is undoubtedly one of my favourite European cities. It has so many things to do, great vibes, good food, lots of cool bars and clubs and lots of history, you can’t go wrong if you decide to visit.

I know that I loved a place when I visit it more that once. I visited Berlin twice and it’s been on my radar to return very soon.

One of my favourite activities I’ve done in Berlin is a good old bike ride. I was visiting Berlin with a great group of strangers (strangers that became friends) at the time but there was something magical about exploring a cool city, with a bunch of new friends, taking all in and feeling the breeze on your face whilst cruising on a bike!

2. Escape Rooms in Budapest.

My love for escape rooms was born after trying a few in Budapest. I was lucky because I was travelling with a friend who is obsessed with Escape Rooms. We tried a few on our visit and it was so cool to try some escape rooms in a different environment and make some unique memories while trying to escape. Ha!

I am also happy to report that we have indeed escaped successfully!

3. Seeing the Northern Lights in Lapland.

I know that seeing the Northern Lights is a bucket list activity for most travellers. I have to admit that the first time I saw them I wasn’t too impressed. I know what you’re thinking and yes I am serious. This was mainly due to the fact that we could not see them clearly because the sky wasn’t very clear.

That one time though, where we were sleeping in an igloo in the middle of nowhere and the alarm went off to notify us that the northern lights made an appearance, made it quite special! Or another special moment was during out last night in Lapland, where we decided to all go out and take our camera to capture some cool pictures (again in the middle of nowhere because that’s where you get the best view!).

So yeah, I would recommend trying to chase the Northern Lights, in the middle of nowhere with some cool peeps!
